Chamber filter press is one kind of intermittent filter equipment, it is used for solid-liquid separation of various suspending liquid. Filter plates are pressed by pressing devices, and then suspension is pumped into the filter chamber. Solid particles and liquid are separated through filter cloth. This equipment is simple in structure and good in separating effects, easy to operate.

Membrane filter press composed of chamber filter plate and membrane filter plate, The feeding pump press the slurry to enter the filte chamber, then ,the solid and liquid are separated through fiter cloth, when the slurry has been formed to be a solid cake, air compressor will blow air to membrane filter plate which will given second squeezing to solid and lowering its water content.

It can lower more than 10%-40% water content compare with chamber filter press for different kindly of feeding material. 

Plate& Frame filter press is an assembly of plates covered with a filter cloth and frames designed to collect the cake, held together in a press with that has a head plate and tail plate – the press is closed by a hydraulic pump, or manually in small presses. The plates and frame can be made of many types of materials, polypropylene is popular. Many times the press has "recessed plates" where two plates form a cavity for collecting cake eliminating the frame. Filter presses must be opened and the plates separated to remove the cake.
